Wee Rock (3-5)

Our Wee Rock volunteers are the best!  Wee Rock classroom is for kids 3 years old who are potty trained until age 6 (graduated kindergarten)  We have partnered with The Gospel Project curriculum to help us in our mission to make life long followers of Jesus.  The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ centered chronological journey though scripture.  Kids will discover how the gospel unflolds from Genesis through Revelation.  When kids truly experience the gospel their hearts are transformed.  It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything.

What to expect when you come to Kids Church

Here is what to expect when you come to Kids services at Church of the Rock.

First of all, Welcome! We are glad you are here and you will be greeted by a friendly face to show you where to go.

Register your child/ren.  You will see a kiosk by the front doors under a sign that reads Kids Church.  At the kiosk you will input your childs information as well as your own into planning center.  Someone should be there to help you with this.  If you are already registered you will move on to check in.

Check in:  check in your kids with kiosk.  Wait for printer to print out name tags for all children and also the parent pick up tag.  The barcode on both the name tags and parent tags are the same and are needed for pick up.

Once kids are checked in they will join their families in the worship service.  We believe it is important for kids to see their parents and other adults worship together.  Kids will be dismissed to their classes after the offering.

Once in their classrooms kids will experience a bible story from one of our amazing story tellers, an activity or game to help reinforce the lesson, discussions, scripture memorization games, and prayer.

At time of pick up, please wait at the double doors until one of the teachers comes out to dismiss.  Have your parent tag ready and we will bring the kids out to meet you.
